Digital Storefronts Review 2026: Cory Long's $5,000 Course (+ $37 Alternative)

Digital Storefronts Review: What Cory Long's $5,000 Program Teaches, and Who It Suits

The seven modules, the roughly $5,000 price, the no-refund policy and the upsells — and where a $37 kit is the better first step.

Digital Storefronts is Cory Long’s rank and rent course: about $5,000 for seven modules that walk from picking a location to building “digital storefronts” (local sites and Google Business Profiles), ranking them, and finding “tenants” — local businesses that pay a monthly fee for the leads. There’s a private Facebook group of roughly 500 members and no refund after the initial payment. Cory’s own track record is strong; the training’s depth and the upsells are where Ippei’s review raises flags.

How this review was written: I have not bought this course. Everything below comes from the course’s own pages and from Ippei Kanehara’s published reviews (dated in the text), so you can check each claim yourself. I sell a $37 rank and rent kit, which is the alternative at the end — judge my bias accordingly. Prices change; confirm on the seller’s site.

What’s good about it?

  • The model is the right one. Ippei calls it solid and sustainable, and it is: own the ranked asset, rent the leads.
  • Cory has done it. Ippei credits him with eight-figure results ranking and renting sites.
  • Google Business Profile is in the method. Many courses ignore Maps; for local trades it’s half the leads.
  • The platform is easy to navigate, per the review.

What’s the catch?

  • Upsells. Ippei’s first con is “expensive upsell services with questionable quality” — done-for-you extras sold after the $5,000.
  • Few recent student results shown publicly.
  • Derivative training. The review notes the material is derived from the original program creator’s course rather than being Cory’s own curriculum.
  • No refund, at $5,000.
  • “Finding and closing deals” and “tenant attraction” are sales modules. The tenant pays monthly, and you sell that.

Who should buy Digital Storefronts?

Someone who wants a structured seven-module path from a proven operator, values the Google Business Profile angle, can afford $5,000 with no refund, and is comfortable closing business owners on monthly fees. Say no to the upsells until your first site pays.

The $37 first step for people who won’t close “tenants”

The Rank and Rent Starter Kit covers modules 1–3 of that list with the City Picker, the Claude site-builder skill and the ranking prompts — and then replaces modules 5–6 with a free-lead post in a contractor Facebook group and a one-page 10%-of-closed-jobs agreement. No tenant to attract, no deal to close; the contractor messages you. $37 one-time, lifetime access, no upsell required (the add-ons are $17–$127 and optional). The full method is here.

What you don’t get: a 500-member group, Cory’s Maps-ranking depth, or a done-for-you option. If you want those, Digital Storefronts is a real program — at 135 times the price.
