BAM University Review (2026): What It Was, Why It Closed and What to Do Instead

What Joshua T. Osborne’s BAM University cost and included, how its digital leasing model worked, and which programs are still open.

Quick answer

BAM University was Joshua T. Osborne’s rank and rent program. It cost $5,000 to $7,800 for 250+ training videos, weekly live coaching, a website template and a private Facebook group, with a 48-day refund window. Ippei Kanehara’s August 2026 review lists it as no longer active. When I checked in October 2026, bamuniversity.com showed an unrelated gambling site, so the domain is no longer his. If you were looking for it, you’re probably comparing rank and rent courses, and the options below are still open.

How this review was written: I have not bought this course. BAM University is closed, so everything below comes from Ippei Kanehara’s review (updated August 13, 2026) and his course comparison, so you can check each claim yourself. I sell a $37 rank and rent kit, which comes up at the end, so judge my bias accordingly.

Is BAM University still open?

No. Ippei’s review, updated August 13, 2026, lists it as no longer active. On October 13, 2026, bamuniversity.com loaded an unrelated Turkish gambling site, so don’t enter details there. Osborne’s current offer is called Digital Leasing, which Ippei reviews separately. I haven’t verified its price, so check it directly.

What did BAM University include?

  • 250+ training videos: on-page and off-page SEO, niche research, call tracking, client prospecting and paid advertising
  • Weekly live coaching workshops and Q and A
  • A lead generation website template
  • A private Facebook group

What is BAM University’s digital leasing model?

Build a lead generation site, rank it, then lease it to a local business for a flat monthly fee. You keep ownership, so if the business stops paying, you send the leads to another contractor. Ippei puts the typical fee at $500 to $1,500 a month per site.

The problem with a flat monthly fee

The fee has to be sold to the business owner, usually on a call, and then defended every month, including months when the leads don’t close. It also doesn’t grow when the jobs get bigger. Ippei says the model suits low-ticket niches, which matches how I use flat fees on my newer, lower-ticket home-service sites. For big jobs, a percentage of each closed job usually pays more; the rank and rent pricing guide compares the options.

Who is Joshua T. Osborne?

A lead generation teacher who learned the model from Dan Klein, one of the original rank and rent mentors. Ippei reports he ran BAM in partnership with Sean Kochel, and that Osborne openly disliked the SEO side, calling it “for nerds”, so his students often outsourced the SEO work.

What were the pros and cons?
